Job Description:
Low Voltage Technician Benefits after the 1st of the month
following 90 Days from DOH
Low Voltage Technician is responsible for supporting the company
installation of telecommunication systems and other procedures, for
the company clients/vendors. The technician works within a team
environment, installing telecommunication systems, which includes
installation of cables, Set Top Boxes, set up and maintenance of
the phones, voice mail, internet/router setup, and customer service
activities. The position is responsible for peripheral equipment,
networking, communications equipment, and providing support for
users end needs.
Essential Functions
Installs, repairs, maintains, Troubleshoots and performs testing
activities on various cable --- equipment, peripherals, data
communication equipment, etc.
Assembles, installs, configures and tests all types of cable
equipment.
Completes work orders such as installing equipment, connecting and
moving devices; installing cable boxes; and troubleshooting wires
not providing signal to equipment
Uses different types of test equipment and tools to
troubleshoot/repair equipment.
Installs cabling for phone, internet, WAP, and television systems.
Performs moves, adds, deletes and other changes for phone,
internet, cable television uses.
--- May have to move on site equipment, tools, furniture, etc,
above 50 lbs.
--- May have to maneuver around small areas such as attics, crawl
hatches, etc, for cabling.
8.--- Maintain a positive environment for teammates, and positive

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.--- The employee must be available
during the - work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and must work up
to 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional
evening and weekend work may be required as occasional job duties
demand.
Travel
Travel between jobsites may be expected for this position as
occasional job duties demand.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional and safe work environment. This
role routinely uses standard communications tools and
equipment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job.
The employee is frequently required to sit; climb or balance; and
stoop, kneel, crouch or craw through small enclosed spaces. The
employee must frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and
occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
