We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsPosition Description:The Operating Room Tech performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. The Operating Room Tech works under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and is responsible for equipment set up, prepare/arrange equipment and assist the Surgeon with the handling of instruments/equipment during a surgical procedure. There are many tools that a Surgeon may need depending upon the surgical procedure and the OR Tech must be able to anticipate, quickly identify and hand off to the Surgeon with precision.
  In this position, you will:
  • Assemble supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures
  • Prepare sterile instrument table
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitors situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique
  • What qualifications you will need:
    Position Qualifications:
    • Graduate of a formal surgical technologist program or equivalent training
    • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
    • National Scrub Technician Certification preferred This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
