The Trauma Center Performance Improvement & Injury Prevention Coordinator is responsible and accountable for promoting, monitoring and evaluating high quality, safe, cost effective health care by all members of the trauma team. He/she is also responsible for coordination and integration of trauma service improvement programs. This position is based on hospital, state, American College of Surgeons, and The Joint Commission standards. Qualifications: Florida RN licensure required BSN/MSN preferred Experience with direct trauma patient care required TNCC or ATCN required, instructor preferred Experience with Performance Improvement or Quality preferred Experience with Pediatric Trauma care preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required Excellent communication skills in English verbally and in writing required Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities required Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time Ability to multitask and work in a shared space Company Description: At its founding in 1968, Nashville-based HCA was one of the nation's first hospital companies.
