HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, known for its commitment to patient-centered care and integration of advanced technology, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role focuses on providing top-notch respiratory care services to patients across various units such as emergency, ICU, and pediatrics, ensuring optimal respiratory function and recovery. Perform and analyze diagnostics tests such as arterial blood gases, pulmonary function, and others to assess respiratory condition. Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services including aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy. Participate in the development and modification of respiratory therapy treatment plans based on patient needs. Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient treatment and care. Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and respiratory care procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Expertise in pulmonary function tests and other respiratory assessment tools Proficiency in using respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and oxygen supply systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Active state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
