About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified OR RN in Weston, Florida, 33331! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in liver/transplant nursing
License: Active nursing license required Certifications: AHA or
American Red Cross ACLS, BLS (must have at time of application),
NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: Candidates must have
strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience
reflected on a skills checklist. Must be proficient in
Misonix/CUSA. Candidates must have experience putting organs back
in the new patient, not just harvesting. Description: Nurse will
work from 0645 to 1715 with liver call. Other cases may be
performed if there are no liver/transplant cases. Orientation hours
required are 16. Nurse manager will discuss on-call requirements at
the time of the interview. Nurse may float within scope to meet
facility needs. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with no
exceptions. All time-sensitive modules must be prioritized once
confirmed for an assignment. All requests for time off must be
included at the time of application. Failure to comply with this
may result in rejection of later requests. This is a smoke-free
facility. Travelers must submit a negative 10-panel drug screen,
including nicotine, within 12 months prior to start. All candidates
must be willing to participate in training, including students and
new staff. Modules are non-billable, and candidates are required to
complete them pre-start and annually. Study materials will be
provided. Candidates must submit two references from a direct
supervisor, manager, or director for the unit. The facility does
not accept any license hits. Failure to meet certification or
testing requirements may result in cancellation. The facility has a
strict do-not-call policy. The work environment includes adults and
geriatrics with a daily census of 55-60. This position involves
various surgical procedures requiring specific skills in organ
