Job Description Combine your specialized fellowship expertise
with a passion for excellence in a dynamic Neonatology role
designed for physicians ready to grow alongside a top-tier
pediatric community. Responsibilities: Evaluates and treats
patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
Adheres, contributes, and develops clinical patient pathways to
ensure a standardized approach to neonatal medicine. Rounds with a
Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on NICU patients, as well
as supervising the APP’s attending high risk deliveries.
Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of
efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided
to patients. Act as attending consulting physician for patients who
require hospitalization, depending on needs of patients, medical
staff, and hospital. Providers will be the primary educator for the
pediatric residents. Provides appropriate documentation that meets
insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely
manner. Participates in inpatient rounds and provide appropriate
hand-off to the next team. Establish an outpatient NICU graduate
