ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM shifts with liver call responsibilities • Perform other surgical cases when no liver/transplant procedures scheduled • Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience reflected on skills checklist • Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment • Experience required in placing organs in new patients, not just organ harvesting • 2 years of direct liver/transplant or OR RN experience required • On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month • Must float within scope to meet facility needs • Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 18-room OR with daily census of 55-60 • 40 hours of orientation required • Must participate in teaching activities with students and new staff • EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each • Complete non-billable modules averaging 6-15 hours pre-start • Use EPIC charting system • Wear ceil blue scrubs Facility: This 230-bed short-term acute care facility serves as a teaching hospital specializing in complex surgical procedures including organ transplantation.
