Job Description:
HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in
Osceola County, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join
our radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible
for performing diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) scans,
ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging
standards. This role is pivotal in supporting our diverse medical
specialties including emergency care, cardiology, women's health,
and orthopedics by providing accurate and timely diagnostic

Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high quality diagnostic
images. Follow prescribed safety procedures to ensure patient and
staff safety from radiation exposure. Prepare patients for CT
scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns. Maintain
records of diagnostic procedures as required by hospital policies
and privacy regulations. Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate
images and determine the need for additional tests. Assist in the
maintenance and calibration of CT equipment to ensure operational
efficiency. Provide training and guidance to junior technologists
and radiology students. Proficiency in operating CT imaging
equipment. Strong understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent
patient management skills. Good communication and interpersonal
skills. Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the ARRT is
preferred.
