Cath Lab Tech Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,200 to $2,400 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/Hourly. Summary: A Cath Lab Tech works in a specialized hospital unit (cardiac catheterization laboratory) supporting procedures such as angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations. They operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, and ensure a sterile, safe environment. Responsibilities: Prepare patients for procedures (review history, explain procedures, obtain consent verification). Position patients on procedure tables. Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures. Provide post-procedure care instructions and monitoring.
