Job Description Overview\n \n AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking two General Urologists to join our Urology team at our new hospital in Lake Nona, set to open in 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing healthcare system and collaborative team that will consist of three urologists with APP support. The position offers the chance to help build a dynamic urology practice from the ground up. \n Key Responsibilities: \n \n Provide comprehensive general urological care to a diverse patient population \n Participate in rotating call coverage with practice colleagues at AdventHealth Lake Nona \n Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care \n Help establish a robust urology service at a new facility \n \n Qualifications: \n Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills • Active FL license and DEA, or ability to obtain • Strong commitment to patient-centered care • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus • Ability to work effectively in a new, team-orientated environment AdventHealth Orlando is an internationally renowned, hospital that specializes in life-saving medical treatments, preventative care and pioneering research. To date, thousands of tons of soil have been removed from the site, and more than 1,000 concrete piles have been placed underground to serve as the hospital’s foundation. The hospital is planned to open with 80 beds, with room to expand to 320. \n Services at the new hospital will include men’s health, bariatrics, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and more. The hospital will also feature an incisionless surgical suite, with a focus on focused-energy treatments. These leading-edge techniques include using ultrasound to destroy tumors and to stop tremors in patients with Parkinson’s disease. \n “We envision this as a health and wellbeing destination, integrated into the Lake Nona community with something to offer to everyone,” said Doug Harcombe, CEO of the hospital. \n With a lake promenade, event lawn, amphitheater and tie-in to the Lake Nona Trail, the 25-acre campus will align with Lake Nona’s focus on fostering wellness and community. \n The hospital will feature a warm and inviting design, with artistic touches in keeping with Lake Nona’s character.
