Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Melbourne, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,712 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Florida state license required at time of submittal Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required 2 references from authority figures within the last year required Flu vaccine required during the specified season with medical/religious exemptions only COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only Travel experience required Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Neuro PCU environment. The nurse will care for patients with various medical diagnoses, including chest pain, sepsis, CHF, COPD, CAD, and A-fib. The nurse will manage patients post-cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, and administer chemotherapy. They will monitor telemetry patients and manage ventilated patients. The ratio of patients to nurse is 1:5. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period as determined by unit needs. Floating to other units or locations may be required. This position involves comprehensive nursing skills, including drip titration and management of critical patients. The nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team that may include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing.
