Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Titusville, FL Agency: Compunnel Healthcare Pay: $1,500 to $1,650 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele (PCU/Tele) Facility: Parrish Medical Center, Titusville, FL Unit: MS/Tele (PCU/Tele) – Mixed Unit Med Surg, Med Surg Tele, PCU Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/01/2025) Positions Available: 1 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Patient Ratios: 1:6 Job Overview: Parrish Medical Center seeks an RN for a high-acuity MS/Tele unit. The nurse will care for PCU-level patients including cardiac telemetry, med-surg, and orthopedic care, ensuring patient safety and high-quality nursing care. Floating within scope to other units is required. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Float Requirement: Yes, within scope Block Schedule: Not allowed Responsibilities: Manage high-acuity MS/Tele and PCU patients Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and cardiac drips (no titration) Provide care for dysrhythmias, CVA, chest tubes, and orthopedic/total joint replacement patients Utilize Meditech for charting Complete orientation week and required modules pre-start Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years MS/Tele or PCU experience Patient Ratio Experience: 1:6 (1:5 considered if documented) Certifications: RN License (FL or compact) ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Skills: Telemetry, cardiac drips, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IV therapy, orthopedic and total joint replacement care Modules: 4 hours, non-billable Hospital Highlights: Type: Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 210 Charting: Meditech Parking: Free, unrestricted
