and Qualifications The registered professional nurse is responsible
for the direct and indirect total nursing care of his/her assigned
patients. He/She is also responsible for the supervision of
assigned personnel. The position requires intimate knowledge of
both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to
the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent
interactive and consultative associations, along with management
and supervisory skills are inherent in the position. The ability to
retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in a
written, auditory, or visual fashion is essential. The primary
method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word.
Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for
the position. What qualifications you will need: - Graduate from an
accredited school of nursing. - Minimum of 1 years of nursing
experience preferred. - Related experience preferred one-year
postpartum - Current FL RN License required or recognized Compact
Licensure (subject to Florida State licensing requirements,
including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration
provisions) - Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support
card - Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification or obtain
within 30 days of hire. - ACLS certification preferred. HCA Florida
Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full
range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart
Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides
interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery.
Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics,
orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric
emergency services, and diagnostic services. We also offer
inpatient, and outpatient surgical services. Lawnwood Hospital is a
designated Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Physical
Rehabilitation Center is CARF accredited. We are a Level II Trauma
Center. We are verified by the American College of Surgeons. We
offer a freestanding ER in Vero Beach. We provide emergency
treatment for adults and children. We also offer the area’s only
