The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.The Inpatient Rehab Unit is a 50 Bed Unit and common patients are Trauma, Stroke, Spinal Cord & Cardiac patients. Patients being treated are 18 years old and older in this Unit. LRMC's Inpatient Rehab Unit is the only CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited Rehab Unit on the Treasure Coast AND was listed as a 2022 Top Performer!!Join our winning Team!In this position - you will:
    • Manage efficient flow of patients including screening and assessments
    • Educate patients and families regarding treatment and medication instructions
    • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
      What qualifications you will need:
      • FL RN Licensure, or
      • Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
      • Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
      • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
      • 1 year or more RN Acute &/or Rehab experience preferred-- This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital.
