Job Description & RequirementsCertified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)StartDate: 02/01/2021Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1450.00 - 1850.00Black scrubs. 2+ years of experience. 50 mile radius rule. No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year. Comprehensive X-Ray and CT procedure knowledge base. Emergency-room & Trauma imaging skill in X-ray and CT, ability to perform CTA, MPR, Brain Perfusion. CTA, MPR, Brain Perfusion, IVs. Noninvasive X-Ray and CT studies (no Fluoroscopy, no percutaneous biopsy/ drainage. Number of Beds : 10 - Patient Ratios :N/A - Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : All staff recept, screen, - Type of equipment : GE Revolution EVO CT (64 slice), GE digital portable - Documentation system: MEDITECH - Scheduling requirements: 36 hours/ week 7p-7a - Floating policy: will be floated to main CT dept if shifts are cancelled - Patient Experience requirements: perform AIDET at every encounter Imaging techs are responsible for completing diagnostic x-ray exams and diagnostic CT scans - Imaging techs are responsible for carrying a radio for communication with other ED staff - When imaging techs are not busy with patients, they are responsible for assisting with patient room cleaning, staffing the reception desk, and participating in COVID screening duties at the entryway. - Shift starts at 645pm and imaging techs are responsible for participating in huddle - Rotating schedule, working One week on / one week off: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday (return to work the following Thursday) - One technologist is scheduled per shift as minimum staffing - Can float to main CT department for overtime shiftsWe are partnering with a well-respected facility in Fort Pierce, FL that is looking for a highly-motivated and passionate CT Tech for a contract position. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment and work in a fast paced setting. The client is seeking a candidate available for full time hours. They would need someone with previous experience, an ARRT certification, and must have emergency and trauma imaging skills in x-ray and CT, as well as the ability to perform brain perfusions. The schedule will 12 hour shifts. This is an immediate need and the client is actively interviewing.
