(PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1
years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants
who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to
support K-12 students across multiple school locations within Lake
County, FL. The role is a full-time contract position beginning as
soon as possible and ending on May 29, 2026. Serving approximately
100 students countywide, this position is ideal for a professional
with school-based experience who is passionate about contributing
to the health and well-being of children. Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to students across 16 assigned
schools, including elementary, middle, and high schools Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with
school staff and families Monitor student progress and document
therapy outcomes in compliance with school policies Participate in
meetings with educators and healthcare professionals to optimize
student support Adapt therapy approaches to suit a diverse
population of children with varying physical needs Qualifications
and Experience: Valid and current professional physical therapy
assistant license Proven school-based experience with a preference
for working in K-12 settings Strong communication and interpersonal
skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school
staff Ability to manage a caseload efficiently across multiple
school sites Commitment to a full-time schedule totaling 37.5 hours
per week (8 hours per day plus 30 minutes unpaid break)
Location:This role requires on-site presence at schools spread
throughout Lake County, Florida, including locations in Eustis,
Tavares, Mount Dora, Leesburg, and more. Benefits: Work in a
