highly motivated and customer-focused Service Writer to join our
team. As a Service Writer, you will be the face of our business,
interacting directly with customers to provide exceptional service
and ensure their BMW needs are met. Your role will involve
coordinating service appointments, addressing customer inquiries,
and communicating service recommendations. You will work closely
with our skilled technicians to ensure a seamless service
experience for our customers. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist
customers in a professional and friendly manner, understanding
their BMW service requirements. - Schedule service appointments,
ensuring efficient utilization of our service bay and technician
schedules. - Act as a liaison between customers and technicians,
conveying vehicle issues and service recommendations accurately. -
Provide clear explanations of service options, timelines, and costs
to customers, maintaining transparency and trust. - Generate
accurate repair orders, ensuring all necessary details and
information are documented. - Keep customers updated on the status
of their vehicle repairs, addressing any concerns promptly. -
Process payment transactions and ensure accurate billing. - Assist
in maintaining a clean and organized service area, creating a
welcoming environment for customers. - Continuously update
knowledge of BMW models, service techniques, and industry trends to
provide informed service recommendations. Qualifications: - Proven
experience as a Service Writer or in a customer service role within
the automotive industry. - Excellent communication skills, both
verbal and written. - Strong customer service orientation with the
ability to build rapport and trust with customers. - Organizational
skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and
order processing. - Proficient computer skills, including
experience with automotive service software. - Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities. -
Enthusiasm for BMW vehicles and a willingness to learn and stay
updated on new models and technologies. - BMW knowledge is a plus
