We are seeking a Vice President of Accounting to serve as a strategic and operational leader overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls. Reporting closely to the CFO, this executive will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, lead a high-performing accounting organization, and provide insights that enable confident, data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. Stability with Momentum: Join a growing organization investing in people, process, and long-term success Your Impact Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, treasury, and the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities. Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. Establish, maintain, and continuously strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risk. Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership to deliver financial analysis, forecasting, and insights that support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and profitability. Oversee external audits, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements, serving as the primary accounting leader for audit readiness and execution. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting organization, driving accountability, development, and execution excellence. Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to streamline workflows, improve data integrity, and scale the accounting function. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and HR to provide accounting guidance and ensure financial implications are considered in all transactions, initiatives, and new programs. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus. Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role. Deep technical accounting expertise, including U.S. GAAP, audit management, and regulatory compliance. Proven experience leading external audits and managing compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insight. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Proficiency with accounting systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills across executive and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience in hospitality, real estate, or vacation ownership is highly desirable.
